Our Story

We're Tim and Amanda Mink, and we started Light Your Way LLC Sober Living from a place that so many in our community know well: the intersection of heartbreak and hope.

Recovery isn't a straight road. It's a journey walked one day at a time, often in the dark and we know that darkness personally. We've watched people we love fight for their lives. We've sat with grief. We've also witnessed the most extraordinary moments of healing, resilience, and transformation. Those moments are what Light Your Way is built on.

Candle-making found us at just the right time. There's something deeply intentional about the act of pouring, the stillness it requires, the care it demands, the warmth it creates. We realized that every candle we poured could carry more than fragrance. It could carry a story, a name, a prayer, a reminder that someone out there is rooting for you.

That's when Light Your Way became more than a business. It became a mission.

In recovery, intention matters. The small rituals — lighting a candle, taking a breath, choosing to show up — are the threads that hold the fabric of healing together.

Each collection in our shop carries its own meaning. The Healing Line honors the journey inward. The Legacy Line celebrates the lives and stories that shape us. The Light Line is for those stepping into something new. And our Light Bringers collection honors the people — like the incredible Narcan Lady, Jessica Birch — who show up every single day to keep others alive and moving forward.

We host candle-pouring experiences at Daisy's NA Bar & Bottle Shop in Maryville, TN — a space that, like us, is built around community, connection, and sober joy. But the experience doesn’t have to stop there. We also offer mobile candle-pouring experiences, bringing the creativity, connection, and hands-on fun directly to your home, business, recovery program, private event, or gathering space.

These experiences are designed to help people slow down, connect, get creative, and walk away with something they made themselves — poured with intention, memory, laughter, healing, or simply a good time in mind. Whether you join us at Daisy’s or invite us to your space, every pour tells a story.
